This form is launched from the OrderStream profile bar by clicking on the Production tab. and then Work Order and looks as shown in the following image.
There are a few variations on how a Work Order can be produced. One is by generating a Work Order from a Sales Order. This method creates a Work Order based on the information that has been entered in the Sales Order. All the customer information as well as the entered Item information (structure, quantity etc.) is brought over and the Work Order is produced. This technique should be used for all Make to Order products.
The second method is to directly produce a Work Order. This is the technique used for make to stock items.
