Display
|
Check or uncheck the fields you would like to display on the search screen.

Alias
|
An alias for the field. An alias is a name that will display for the field instead of the initial field name.
|
Sort
|
There are 3 options, blank, Ascending, and Descending.
|
Sort Rank
|
Enter a number such as 1, 2, 3 etc. This is used with Sort to further sort the results. For example if you had 2 or more fields with Sort Ascending, this would tell the system the sort order.

Type
|
Auto filled by the system with the field’s data type.
|
Format
|
There are 3 options blank, Currency, and Percentage. If the Type is number, this format selection will format the field display.
|
Alignment
|
There are 4 options, blank, Left, Center, Right
|
Decimals
|
Enter a number such as 1, 2, 3 etc. If the Type is number, this decimal format will format the field display to show the number of decimals.

Filter
|
Check or uncheck to enable default filtering for the search. For example if you know that the user will enter certain criteria and you would like to set it up it for them as a default you can specify it here.

Criteria Type
|
Used with filter to setup a default filter for the user.
|
From
|
The criteria. Used with filter to setup a default filter for the user.

To
|
The criteria. Used with filter to setup a default filter for the user.
|
Summary
|
There are 6 options blank, Average, Sum, Minimum, Maximum, Count. If the Type is number, this format selection will format the field display as the specific summary format.

Transaction Field
|
From your base query if you have specified primary keys such as SalesOrderID, you can select that here. It is used with Transaction Module to open the specific screen when the user clicks on the field.

Transaction Module
|
This is used with Transaction Field to specify the module screen to open and based on the Transaction field ID load the specific transaction.

Hold Values

Format
|
The Custom Format Design that you have created. This is used with Format Evaluation column.

Format Evaluation Field
|
This is the field that you want the Format (Custom Format Design) to evaluate. This is used with the Format column.
