Quickbooks uses GL account descriptions, not the GL account number, to identify the GL account to post to. This means that GL account descriptions in both Seradex and Quickbooks must be identical for transactions to be posted successfully. When modifying GL account information, the best practise is to update the GL account information in Quickbooks first, then run Update Accounts to copy the changes into the Seradex database.
