The following is an outline of the standard worksheets included with the Balanced Scorecard workbook.
The Executive Summary
The Executive Summary provides a snap shot of the current state of business operations. The default appearance of the Executive Summary is as presented in Figure 1 below.
Sales Rep Performance
The Sales Rep sheet provides a breakdown of the sales performance of individual sales representatives. An excerpt of the Sales Rep sheet is displayed in Figure 2.
Sales Pipeline
The Sales Pipeline enables the user to see all open quotes in the system and the timeline related to these quotes. A sales projection is calculated based on the timeline and dollar values.
Top 100 Customers
The Top 100 Customers sheet provides a sales breakdown of high performance customers as indicated in Figure 3.
Production
The Production sheet identifies problem orders which have fallen behind schedule and require attention.
Purchasing
The Purchasing sheet displays recent large purchase orders as well as late purchase orders which require follow up.
Customer Gross Profit
The Customer Gross Profit sheet enables the user to compare total sales to total costs to evaluate the total profit for individual customers.
Business Process Perspective
The Business Process Perspective sheet evaluates performance in terms of on time delivery and sales order turn around time.
