Prerequisites:
The Job Costing module must be activated. If you have not yet purchased a license, please contact your project manager or a Seradex Sales Representative.
Module Overview:
This form is launched from the OrderStream profile bar by clicking on the [Production] tab. and then [Job Costing] and looks as shown below.
The Job Costing Module provides detailed analysis of shop floor activities. This analysis includes a job cost report, profit projection, reports on labor, overhead, materials, and outside purchases transactions, labor efficiency, work order history, and production by work center, machine, and tool. Use this module to analyze job costs, job status, employee performance, labor standards, productivity, and quality assurance performance.
In the OrderStream hierarchy, a job is the tool to organize and control all quotes, sales orders (communication with the customer), work orders (communication with the shop floor), purchase orders, receipts, shipments and invoices associated with a customer's order.
With our real time information gathering, we are able to display the differences between estimated costs, engineered costs and actual costs.
