It is often useful to control routing steps. In the example below the Cut Operation is applied to the Item AN-05.
It would be more representative if the Cut operation was moved to Level 2 an indented under the Item “Base”.
These can be accomplished using the Routing Worksheet. In column F – RefNum simply enter the Row of the BOM Item that the Operation is applicable too. In this example Row 31 on the BOM Worksheet is the Item “Base”.
The Labor Operation “Cut” is now moved under the parent item “Base”
