Include Qty In Spec

Normally a group of identical input choices in the configurator is linked to 1 spec.  This choice appends the Order Quantity for additional uniqueness.

If for example you have significant setup costs the costing and pricing logic may need to factor in the quantity in the sheet calculations.

The quantity will not be included in the item spec.

Do Not Run Custom Macro

A Seradex validation macro will not be triggered when configuring a product line.

All Seradex macros will function correctly (recommended)

3) Create a New Revision

4) Change Item No and Create New Item

The item will be configured and mastered without the user being prompted.

Disable Excel Calculation

Excel calculations are performed all at once after all data is sent to the sheet. It may improve configurator speed.

Excel will recalculate the sheet after each separate data input.

Always Force New Spec

Even if the exact combination of configurator choices has been used before, a new item spec will be created.  This choice will inflate the size of the database but ensure that every Sales Order or Estimate is processed against the excel sheet every time.

If the system determines there are matching item specs already present in the system (by comparing existing item spec PropText records against the PropText generated for the item currently being configured), the existing  item specs will be used.

Prompt Qty Changes on Configured Items

If this is selected and the user changes a Sales Order or Estimate line quantity they will be prompted to revaluate the sheet.
