Overview

 

 

Customer Relationship Management in its broadest sense simply means managing all customer interactions. In practice, this requires using information about your customers and prospects to more effectively interact with them in all stages of your relationship. We refer to these stages as the customer life cycle. The customer life cycle has three stages:

 

1. Acquiring customers

2. Increasing the value of the customer

3. Retaining good customers

Usage

 

 

The CRM module allows you to work with both existing Customers as well as companies that are not currently customers, called either Suspects or Prospects.  A Customer, Prospect or Suspect is a company or an organization. At each company there could be several people that your company must interact with. Each of these people are known as a Contact.
