The number assigned to the tool

The revision assigned to the tool. Used with the tool number to create unique tool records.

A description of the tool

Either a generic stat code or a stat code assigned to the tooling module which can be assigned to the tool.

An image file will can be assigned to the tool and displayed on the tooling form
|
The inventory location where the tool is stored.
|
The vendor the tool is purchased from.
|
The rack and/or bin location within the inventory location where the tool is stored.
|
The operation cell(s) the tool is used in.

Definitions Tab
The Definitions tab is a user defined tab which can be populated with user controls, which are user defined data entry fields. User controls enable custom data to be saved against tools for reference purposes or for display on custom reports. User controls can be either text boxes or combos as indicated in the image below. See the OrderStream Administrator's manual for information on how to create user controls.
Document Storage Tab
The file name and the path of the attached document.

Click this button to view the attached document.

Used for comments in reference to the attached document.

The date the document was created OR could be used for the date the document was attached.
