This form is used by production to group Sales Orders by common manufactured items and create a single Work Order.
Open the form and on Tools click Show All. This will display all outstanding Sales Orders that have no related Work Order.
There are several ways of sorting on common items. Any of the boxes in the header can be used to sort. For example, if you need to sort on a range of Sales Orders, pick a starting Sales Order number in “F or From” then choose a Sales Order in “T or To”. Now click on Apply Filter.
This will display the detail of all line items relating to those orders. To further sort by item, click in Items under “F” and find the same item under “T” and then click on Apply Filter. The information as shown above will display all detail with regard to these items.
To verify the stock level of any item, right mouse click on the item and click on either Item Running Balance or Inventory Lookup.
For items that you do not want included in the Work Order, click on the red arrow under the “Inc – Include” button.
Now you are ready to generate a Work Order for these items.
